چکیده

A comprehensive understanding of the distribution and water movement substrate in root areas is crucial to design management drip irrigation systems, which a significant step maximizing crop use efficiency by hydrodynamics soilless substrates. In this study, an improved HYDRUS-2D model dynamic growth was used simulate under condition uptake process root, then, compared with observed data. Substrate content also measured calibrated ECH20-EC5 sensors. The situation analyzed conditions different depths, initial content, amount. explored. results showed that incorporating defined boundary hydraulic characteristics into enabled HYDRUS predict position unsaturated porous media solving Richards equation. Under irrigation, wetting body approximately quarter ellipse, would continue move area where front did not reach within 1 h after irrigation. simulation agreed well those ECH2O-EC5 sensors, could provide basis for precision culture Keywords: HYDRUS-2D, movement, DOI: 10.25165/j.ijabe.20221503.6951 Citation: Geng L, Li W, Yang C F, Meng F J. simulations system substrate. Analysis of AET and yield predictions under surface and buried drip irrigation systems using the Crop Model PILOTE and Hydrus-2D

Innovative irrigation solutions have to face water scarcity problems affecting the Mediterranean countries. Generally, surface (DI) or subsurface drip irrigation systems (SDI) have the ability to increase water productivity (WP). But the question about their possible utilization for crops such as corn would merit to be analysed using an appropriate economic tool. The latter would be necessary b...

Experimental and Numerical Analysis of Drip Tape Layout for Irrigation of Sugarcane in Latosol

A laboratory soil column experiment was first conducted to analyze water movement in latosol of sugarcane field under drip irrigation from single-point source at different emitter discharge rates. Next, a mathematical model of soil water movement under drip irrigation from single-point source was built using Hydrus-3D, which could accurately simulate the shape of the wetted soil volume and the ...
